Facial Recognition and Privacy - a Current State of Affairs PDF Print E-mail

November 19, 2018 - We've published several articles on facial recognition and its impact on personal privacy; most recently on Amazon's Rekognition software. Wheather you support its use or not, it is a technology that is being widely deployed by both private and public entities. And there are startelingly few regulations governing its use. The video below was recently distributed by the Wall Street Journal and it provides a good overview of how facial recognition is currently being used and some insight into its future.
